The Utah Pride Center as we know it today is the result of the advocacy, activism, and hard work of many individuals in our state and worldwide throughout centuries. The legacy of the Center accompanies the work we do every day, and we feel grateful and honored to share history with all those Utahns before us who fought hard for LGBTQ+ rights, pride, visibility, and community.
Curly Me a dedicated nonprofit resource for Black girls aged 5-14, committed to fostering their growth through education, empowerment, and encouragement. Curly Me hosts quarterly events and mentoring opportunities designed to inspire girls to embrace their unique identities and achieve their full potential. Join us in creating a supportive community where every girl can thrive and shine. Together, we can help them realize their dreams and aspirations!
The Black Cultural Center at the University of Utah serves as a vibrant hub for students, faculty, and the community, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride. Our mission is to promote academic success, cultural awareness, and social justice through various programs, events, and resources. We celebrate the rich history and contributions of Black individuals while providing a supportive environment for dialogue and growth. Despite the closure of the Black Cultural Center, its building located at 95 Fort Douglas Blvd, Building 603, will continue to operate as a space for broader community engagement. The Millcreek Promise Program is a unique collaboration with United Way of Salt Lake, our promise executive team, leadership committee, subcommittee members, residents, volunteers, and many additional partners who mobilize and support the success of Millcreek youth and families through specific promises:

1. Education: All Millcreek youth have the support to maximize academic success on their path to high school graduation and post-secondary education.
2. Health & Safety: All Millcreek residents have access to health and safety services and resources.
3. Economic Well-Being: All Millcreek residents have the opportunities to provide a high quality of life for themselves and their families.
Encircle provides essential mental health services to LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, and families. Mental health services at Encircle provide a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, and families to explore their identities, nurture healthy social connections, develop essential emotional and psychological skills, and foster positive well-being through authenticity, resulting in over 98% success rate in achieving improved mental health outcomes.
